Great course with lots of wood barricades of different sizes and shapes, not the usual water barrels. Definitely reinforces the different firing positions.

I can’t rate the Pistol 2 class I took highly enough. The instructors were absolute professionals; you could tell by the fluid, effortless way they drew their own weapons. It was clear they had extensive military training, and they used it to drill firearm skills into us all day long. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. It’s not training, it’s a class: afterwards you know what you should spend your time practicing, again and again. Highly recommended for beginners and pros wanting to keep their skills sharp.

Just Finished the Pistol 2 and Carbine 2 classes last weekend and today, they were awesome! Building on the skills learned in the pistol 1 and Carbine 1 class they added new and challenging drills that expanded and reinforced the real world shooting considerations and concerns. While at the same time was very fun and rewarding to shoot through the scenarios. The instructors are very helpful, knowledgeable, and skilled. The pressure and variation they use to create a sense of urgency is very beneficial when running these drills.
Just like pistol 1, and Carbine 1 pistol 2 and Carbine 2 are very high value, low cost and useful courses to take for anyone who is serious about being a good shooter but may not be able to swing some of the other courses offered out there.
For me personally, the reason I have not been able to attend other courses out there was just that, high cost, high round count, and high number of days per class usually.
Dan is a great guy and he as well as his other instructors are generous with there time and these courses give you many quality drills and information that you can take with you to practice with on your own. I cannot wait to take pistol 3 and Carbine 3!

Dan and Randon taught this class, and they were professional and fun as always! This is a great progression from the Tactical Pistol 1 class. There are a lot of barricades to shoot around, though, & over, and we practiced shooting from many different positions, some that I hadn’t even considered before. They also teach techniques for the best shooting while moving. I learned a lot in this class, and even things I can practice at home with an unloaded gun to keep my skills sharp. I’m looking forward to taking the Tactical Pistol 3 class!
