Carrying a firearm is a huge responsibility. In additional to the considerations of when and how to utilize a firearm, you have a responsibility to ensure it stays in your possession at all times. Even if you carry your pistol concealed, skilled attackers can take your firearm in seconds. Conversely, if an attacker presents a firearm on you, knowing how to disarm them can be the difference between life and death. Using full-weighted replica pistols & rifles across the most common platforms, this course will cover the following: handgun disarms and how to defeat them, different methods to disarm a threat presenting a pistol (both single and double-handed), retaining your pistol in a gun grab from the holster, retaining your pistol when on the ground, disarming someone with a rifle, as well as using an empty rifle as a weapon.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 18 years of age (or accompanied by parent or legal guardian)
• Sturdy belt for holster
